About the Band
Red Hook Orchestra is fast becoming one of New York City’s busiest and most popular event bands. Made up of some of NYC’s most sought after musicians the members of Red Hook Orchestra have toured, recorded, and performed with Norah Jones, Regina Spektor, Bill Withers, Dido, Scandal, and Air, amongst many others.
Formed in 2009 by the bandleaders of the Dexter Lake Club Band, Red Hook plays a mix of classic rock, 80’s, and early soul and R&B. RHO provides a high-energy performance by a group of young musicians who love what they do, in contrast to the legions of bands of tired 50-year-olds playing “Celebration”, “Y.M.C.A.”, and “I Will Survive.”
Red Hook Orchestra has performed over one-hundred private and public events appearing at some of the top venues and event spaces in New York, throughout the United States, and North America including the Bowery Ballroom, Knitting Factory, Rockwood, the Bowery Hotel, Steiner Studios, the New York and Brooklyn Botanic Gardens, Prospect Park, Tribeca Rooftop, Chelsea Museum, the Canadian Association of New York Foundation, and the Montreal Science Center.

I like this place. I was here the other night, I've been there for about four or five hours and found the prices reasonable on all fronts and the staff to be so friendly. I would be the perfect person to have on an infomercial for these event venues Chicago if they ever had one.
